What this site collects

One thing: the email address you type into the waitlist form, if you choose to type one. Along with it we store the page you submitted it from and the date, so we can tell which pages are useful. That is the whole record.

We do not collect your name, your location, or anything you did not type into that form.

Analytics and tracking

There are no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics scripts, and no cookies set by this site. The audio offset calculator runs entirely in your browser — the measurements it produces are never sent anywhere, including to us.

Where it is stored

Waitlist entries are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database, which Cloudflare hosts on our behalf. Cloudflare also serves this website and, as any web host does, processes request metadata such as your IP address in order to deliver pages and block abuse.

What we do with your email address

We email you when 1 Beat has a build you can try, and when it is released. That is the entire purpose. We do not sell it, rent it, share it with advertisers, or add you to an unrelated mailing list.

Deleting your data

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. Using it deletes your record. No explanation needed.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If a child has submitted an email address, the unsubscribe link in any email we send removes it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects data already collected, we will email everyone on the waitlist rather than quietly editing this page.
